Tuckahoe, Richmond, Virginia

We were hired, along with the contractor, to transform this traditional Cape in Richmond, Virginia, into a fully renovated modern getaway. Perched atop a lush forest, we designed an open concept, first-floor living space with retractable doors that open to the treetops. Our client calls this their enchanted modern treehouse. As their second home, our design concept was to create a relaxed space that felt cozy and comfortable for entertaining. By incorporating lighthearted fabrics and wallpapers, a curated collection of art by local Virginia artists, and our Bridget Beari® Colors paints throughout the entire home, we created that enchanted treehouse with an inviting Southern flair!
