Bridget Beari Wellness Tip - Brilli Light Bulbs

I love bringing my readers wellness tips for the home and if you have watched our You Tube videos we have dived into laundry, cleaning, soil readings, garden tips and more. Today I’m focusing on a topic that I have been researching for months - the search for the perfect LED bulb. To be honest I just don’t care for the LED bulbs especially in recess cans. Until now…. I found Brilli.

Here are the main reasons Brilli bulbs are different:

  1. 2 types: Wind Down or Charge Up

  2. Optimal Curcadian Stimulus

  3. Dimmable down to 10%

  4. Different Size bulbs

  5. Very little Flicker

Saving energy is the main purpose for LED but if the light changes the mood or fabrics, it is not working for this designer. They have 60 w, 75w, 100w, and 65w floods.

Wind Down Bulbs: create the soft glow of late afternoon. They prepare the body for sleep with no blue light. They are dimmable and warm. Perfect for the bedroom or even a dining room. Cool blue light should be avoided at least 2 hours before bedtime as this inhibits melatonin production. These are create for winding down.

Charge Up Bulbs simulate the bright crisp clarity of morning sunlight to boost energy. Best for a home office or a kitchen. They naturally increase the body’s energy, focus, heighten your mood and increase productivity. These bulbs can be dimmed to change from blue light to a warm light to tune into your natural circadian rhythms. Circadian rhythms are your body’s internal clock that runs in the background of our brain to control our sleep wake cycle. Bad light can disrupt your sleep as well as effect your immune system. We added these lights to our office work room to see their impact. I love their ability to dim to a warmer light. We work with fabrics and paint colors in this area and it is so important to have the correct lighting.

Lighting technology changes all the time but for now Brilli has me hooked. Give them a try!

Brilli is the first company to focus on improving health, wellness, mood, energy and sleep through something we’re all surrounded with every day of our lives: LIGHT

Rule #5

Make a Statement in the Entry with Color or Pattern

The entry is the place to set the tone for the whole house. I love the bold choice of hot pink with the contrast of black and white.

The stark contrast of the navy walls and white against the white trim sets the tone for this foyer. Classic and dramatic!

Inka Dinka No. 42

I love it in the Fine Paints of Europe Hollandac Brilliant finish. It gives it the luster and shine like no other paint!

A graphic pattern can be wonderful as well

Sidebar: Jetta is a terrier of one of my clients. He is a real ham always clamoring for attention and by that I mean barking!

Inka Dinka is my other cat. Obviously black but he has white paws and spots. Sparkling green eyes. His name is Inky but his nickname is Inka Dinka.

Tip:
Go green and clean your brushes with white vinegar!
